Eddison emerging from the transport bus, picture sent in by David Lee
In a shocking turn of events, Nicola Eddison - A.K.A Spritebulb - escaped from a transport bus while being transferred from an Iron Heights to the new Jason Garrick Penitentiary in Keystone City. Breaking free from her magnetic cuffs, Spritebulb redirected the transport bus and crashed it into a Jitter's. The villain took her rampage to the bridge, shooting currents into trucks and passing cars. 15 civilian injuries have been estimated on the bridge alone, with 4 confirmed to have second-degree burns from the incident. The crook's havoc was drawn to a halt when The Flash came racing onto the scene.
The Flash after apprehending Spritebulb, picture sent in by Phil HayseedIn an electrifying scene, the speedster and the lightning-charged criminal quickly came to blows. Fristoe truck driver Phil Hayseed recounts how his trailer dislodged during the fight, beginning to fall onto a little girl hiding behind the truck, but The Flash stopped it in its tracks and lifted it back into place. Tensions rose as the hero was paralysed by a jolt of electricity, but Eddison's victory was short-lived as the speedster tapped into the speedforce and broke free of the paralysis. The wrongdoer was finally brought to her defeat when The Flash ran in circles around her, creating a whirlwind that overcharged her electricity and rendered the felon unconscious.
